Dreamland Recording Studio
Located in West Hurley, NY, Dreamland Recording Studio started out as a church on 1896. In 1986, Dreamland would transform itself into a world class recording studio. Since then Dreamland is famous for recording The B-52’s (Cosmic Thing featuring Love Shack), Living Colour, Bobby McFerrin, 10,000 Maniacs, Bad Brains and countless other musicians.
Dreamland shut it’s doors in 2005, reopening in 2008 after drummer Jerry Marotta convinced the owner Joel Bluestein to get the studio up and running again. Since then Dreamland has played host to artists ranging from Bob Weir, Sawyer Fredricks, Lake Street Dive to Chaos Chaos, Audio Revival, and Bokante.
In this digital age of home recording, Dreamland offers a large wooden, ambient room and tons of vintage instruments and analog recording as well as state of the art digital equipment.
