I was born on June 4, 1981 to Michael and Julie Ann as Baby Girl Larson. It took my parents three weeks to pick out the right name. I was named after my mother Julie Ann and yes it is all one word. My 5 older brothers and sisters, Laurie, Nanette, Kaylin, Jason, and Evan, spoiled me rotten. I always got as many cookies as I wanted. =) 2 1/2 years later my younger brother Adam was born and my family was complete.

I grew up in Livermore, California, which at that time was a small town. Since there was such an age gap between me and my sisters I mainly hung out with the boys. Playing Basketball and wrestling were our main hobbies. They taught me well. I was the toughest girl on the block. I could also eat them under the table. They used to say I had a hollow leg.

In 1999, I graduated from Livermore High School. It was the same High school that all of my brothers and sisters graduated from. That following September I began working at Camelot Music. Never did I think I was going to meet the man I was going to marry.

It took A.J. a while to notice me and by that time I decided I needed a change. I moved to Utah where my brother and sister-in-law were currently living. While I was there I went to the American Institute of Medical and Dental Technology. During that time, A.J. and I talked almost every day and really began to get to know each other. I graduated from school in May of 2002 with a certificate in Medical and Dental office management. After returning home, I got a job with a Dermatologist as their receptionist/biller. 2 years later I was ready for another career change. I now work for a mortgage broker as a loan officer. It is a fun and exciting business and hopefully one that I can make a career out of.

It’s a pretty short story so far, but I look forward to adding many chapters as A.J. and I begin our life together.

Fun fact: Not only did Julielyn and A.J. design their own invitations, website, etc. but they also designed their own wedding rings.
